How the electricity price is made up
The electricity tariff consists of four elements: energy, grid usage, metering and charges.
The tariffs for the individual components are calculated annually for the coming calendar year. Depending on the tariff type, the composition varies slightly. The energy tariff covers the electricity supply. Grid usage, metering tariff and charges relate to operation, metering and statutory or municipal requirements.
