Classification
Explain remuneration for electricity fed into the grid clearly
The return delivery remuneration applies to electricity that is not consumed by the producer but fed into the public grid.
The feed-in remuneration is based on the reference market price of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE). This is calculated for each technology, published after the end of the quarter and applied retrospectively by BKW for billing purposes. For certain photovoltaic systems up to 150 kW, a guaranteed minimum remuneration also applies.

Procedure
From grid connection to credit note
Specialist partners ensure that the technical requirements are in place so that feed-in and remuneration can be processed correctly.
The feed-in remuneration is paid automatically as soon as the system has been correctly connected, registered, metered and commissioned. Billing is usually carried out quarterly after publication of the reference market prices.

Consulting
Consider self-consumption, remuneration and feed-in remuneration together
Specialist partners can help customers assess PV systems not only from a technical perspective, but also in terms of economic viability.
In consulting, the feed-in tariff should always be considered together with self-consumption, system size, load profile, storage, energy management and grid-supporting feed-in regulation. From July 2026, the dynamic purchase remuneration may also be relevant if customers wish to benefit from remuneration based on the hourly electricity market price.
